OUR STORY

With an association of over 3 decades, we conceptually started Sands Synergy (P) Limited, way before we coined the name. Our sheer desire and unmatched passion to be entrepreneurs, enabled us to start our first venture – a make-it-by-hand, start-from-scratch, do-it-together manufacturing outlet, in a small space we rented in a distant suburb of Mumbai. Dreaming big, working hard and living it up, we now have an integrated factory and a big family working towards creating both customer and environment friendly denim & non denim garments. In the years since, we have worked together on a wide array of successful projects with some of the best people in India and abroad, striving to keep our work unique and smart, with room for a little magic.

With indubitable expertise in Research & Development, Shaji understands fabrics, garments and  manufacturing like the back of his hand.

Having spent over 25 years conceptualizing, creating and directing work for some of the industry’s most exciting and forward thinking brands, he demonstrates expertise in all stages from concepts to consumption. He leads product innovation by perceiving needs/gaps in the market, understanding customer demands for new, improved products, keeping a tab on competition and incorporating changes in technology.

A man of few words and a design thinker at heart, one cannot miss the sight of Shaji flashing his awesome smile when his creation matches his imagination.

SURESH NAIR

Production Management

An ace Operations Professional with over 25 years of Manufacturing Experience

Production management, quality control and systems management are Suresh’s core focus areas at Sands Synergy (P) Limited.

He nails the day-to-day control and management of the direct workforce, driving and motivating them to devote focused time, effort and energy, capitalizing on their competence and creative capability when doing so. Combating challenges in optimization of production and logistics processes, he excels in smart and sensitive conversion of inputs into outputs, as per  customer needs.

The most patient of the three, Suresh has an enviable way of relating to all kinds of people. Outside of work, Suresh can be found singing some his favourite retro Bollywood numbers and grooving to the tune of just about every rhythm in the world.

SANJAY KR SINGH

Finance, Strategy & Business Development

A headstrong Strategy Professional with an illustrious Technical Background

With an astute acumen for overall business, Sanjay comes across as a prudent decision maker, unafraid to take risks.

His analytical mindset and innovative bent combined with his technical knowledge have aided him in his focus on growth and development of Sands Synergy (P) Limited to achieve world wide prominence as top-of-the-class garment manufacturers. Assessing the current textile-clothing sector through integrating, optimizing and coordinating business for the long-term, he spiritedly works towards establishing strategic direction and plans to take the organization to a pivotal place.

When Sanjay isn’t working, he’s still working. You can find him glued to the screen researching sustainability practices and energy saving methods to adopt within the organization.
